Scott Fielder built his career around a simple but demanding standard: HVAC performance must be measured, verified, and proven in the field. His influence spans decades of hands‑on experience in airflow measurement, system diagnostics, and the training of professionals responsible for ensuring systems perform as designed.

Scott Fielder

Scott currently serves as Director of Field Operations for Evergreen Telemetry. There, he works directly with contractors, commissioning agents, and Testing, Adjusting, Balancing (TAB) professionals nationwide. His role bridges the gap between instrumentation and application by training users, supporting field technicians, and guiding product development to ensure tools are accurate, practical, and designed for real‑world conditions.

Education and Leadership

Before Evergreen Telemetry, Scott spent more than seven years as director of the National Balancing Council (NBC) division of NCI. There, he oversaw national training programs, certification standards, and procedural development for air-balancing professionals worldwide.

His leadership helps strengthen consistency, documentation, and accountability across the TAB industry — raising expectations for how to measure and report on airflow and system performance.

Education and mentorship have been constant themes throughout Scott’s career. He regularly teaches airflow fundamentals, diagnostic strategy, and measurement best practices, emphasizing repeatability and verification over assumptions. Through training events, industry presentations, and technical discussions, he continues to help technicians and firms build confidence in their data and their process.

Teamwork

Before entering the HVAC industry, Scott served in the United States Army, an experience that shaped his lifelong commitment to leadership, discipline, and service. That mindset continues to inform how he approaches training, teamwork, and giving back to both the industry and the people within it.

Scott Fielder’s impact is rooted in experience, integrity, and a relentless focus on measurable results. His work continues to elevate how HVAC systems are tested, balanced, and validated. This makes him a clear choice for NCI’s High‑Performance HVAC™ Influencers, Class of 2026.
