Lesson 4: Keep Listening To Your Customers

As part of our training process we include online evaluations as well as training commitment surveys. We’ve been using this type of feedback loop for years to continuously improve our training.

We have since added two full certification classes complete with proctored online exams. We are also adding three new classes on schedule to launch before the end of the year.

Interestingly, students have been also telling us that while they love our online training approach, they miss in-person training, and can’t wait until things get back to normal.

In planning for 2021 and beyond, we recognized the opportunity to continue with both virtual and in-person training. In fact, we believe it will be the perfect way to reach many of the more rural areas across the US – and internationally – where it is often tough to have enough students to justify in-person training.

The result: more people will train in High-Performance HVAC each year, furthering NCI’s 25-year mission to help take our industry to the next level.

Lesson learned: Never stop improving. Think outside the box to grow your business and serve more people way they want to be served.

Overall, we feel very blessed that we could adapt to this changing environment, and we encourage you to continue doing the same.

Think beyond business-as-usual and look for new and better ways to stand out in your marketplace as the company everyone wants to do business with!
