Vendor Partner Award

Dominick Guarino recognized Bill Spohn of TruTech Tools, Mogodore, OH as NCI’s 2025 Vendor Partner of the Year award recipient. He explained to the audience that criteria for this award include:

  • Strongly supporting NCI membership — with Special Pricing, Discounts or Rebates 
  • Seeking to constantly Improve Relationship and offer Member Benefits 
  • Promoting NCI Training and Membership to its customer base 
  • Supporting NCI Training by providing Hosting Locations .

According to Guarino, TruTech became an NCI partner years ago.  He says, “This organization is much more than an online distributor. They are huge supporters of training — not just from NCI, but also from across the spectrum, including trainers in building science and home performance.

“The are dedicated to raising the bar for all professionals who employ the latest diagnostic tools to improve indoor environments across North America.”

NCI Chairman’s Award

“I once again have the great honor and privilege of presenting a very special Award that is near and dear to my heart,” says NCI Chairman Dominick Guarino.

He is talking about NCI’s 2025 Chairman’s Award and this year’s winner is Brian Wright of Crossway Mechanical, Tomball, TX.

The criteria for and HVAC contractor to win this award include being::

  • Being a Strong Supporter of NCI and its shared Mission 
  • An Implementer of all aspects of NCI’s methods in Service, Sales and Installation 
  • Being an Excellent sounding board for NCI’s leadership – provides great feedback 
  • Being a Great Contributor of Ideas, Energy, Time.

“Brian runs an HVAC business that strives to do things the right way for more than two decades,” Guarino explains. “He became an early adapter of digital testing technology when it was first hitting the HVAC scene. Frankly, he discovered NCI early on and began testing and balancing most of his installations.

“Brian grew his business by focusing on delivering High-Performance HVAC on every system his team serviced and replaced. Performance is an essential part of Crossway’s core values.” Guarino concludes.
